Self-awareness is about being able to pay attention to what’s going on inside you. Being aware of the thoughts and feelings that cause us to make the decisions that directly affect our daily lives.
The only things in life we can completely control are our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Self-awareness is the root of conscious living and is the key component to living intentionally. When we live more intentionally we experience: - more happiness - less inner conflict - more self-control
- more tolerance for others

Self-aware folks: - take responsibility for their actions - they don’t take things personally - they live by what’s important to them
- they know that their opinion of themselves is more important than anyone else’s opinion of them

Today is Women’s Equally Day. This is a day that

Today is Women’s Equally Day. This is a day that commemorates the 1920 adoption of the 19th Amendment which in essence, gave women the right to vote.
What a shame that something so obvious had to be forced into existence. But there have been many shameful things in this country that needed to be rectified and still much more work to be done.
Let’s take a moment today to appreciate the historical significance of this day as we continue to push for the equity and equality that is supposed to be the promise of this nation.
